12/3/2024 A TIME I WAS TREATED UNFAIRLY

There have been many times where I'm working on a group project and it seems like none of my group mates are really working on it even though they say they are. So I'll confront them about it and theyll usually say "I'll work on it when I get home" but when they get home to work on it they're too tired to actually put any effort in. So then the day to present comes around and I check the presentation to see if they had actually don't their part and they really haven't! all of their slides only have 1-2 sentences on it and I give them the easiest parts! So I have to go behind them redoing all the work they barely did and it ends up being more work and stress than if I had just done it myself. Then when the teacher grades it we all get equal scores even though I put way more effort in than any of my groupmates.

Summery --- Groupmates not contributing to group projects and getting the same grade

 I had to make a speech in front of my class once, and I was nervous that I would forget my words or be judged. but I took deep breaths and focused on eye contact with the crowd. The advice I will give to someone who has stage fright is to practice a lot beforehand, breathe deep, and just remind yourself that the audience wants you to succeed.

 Today in class we started to work on a group project. Im not a fan of group grade assignments, I feel like if I do all of my work and others don't I shouldn't be penalized for putting in my share of effort and getting the same grade as someone who put no effort in. I don't really think 2 of my group members will do their share even though we gave them the easiest jobs. Im fully prepared to do their jobs if I have to.

 Today in class we were supposed to work on a writing assignment that would span the block day but instead I used my minor work ticket yippie!! So instead of wasting my time in class on playing games on my computer or sleeping, im gonna work on my SAT prep homework so thats exciting. I dont have a class today so when i get home all i have to work on is probably some APUSH work and my SAT work.
