12/06/2024 An unforgettable Meal

My most memorable meal ive eaten I ate while i was still living in france. It wasn't the most memorable because of how good the food was, it was the people i was eating it with. I remember i was staying at my grandmas house with a bunch of my french family and we were all eating crepes. But instead of just getting crepes and putting a serving on our plate, we all took crepes from the middle of the table and filled them with a huge variety of toppings! Everyone brought at least one thing to put on them so i got to try a lot of new combinations that i had never had and it was a ton of fun.

 I had to make a speech in front of my class once, and I was nervous that I would forget my words or be judged. but I took deep breaths and focused on eye contact with the crowd. The advice I will give to someone who has stage fright is to practice a lot beforehand, breathe deep, and just remind yourself that the audience wants you to succeed.

 Today in class we started to work on a group project. Im not a fan of group grade assignments, I feel like if I do all of my work and others don't I shouldn't be penalized for putting in my share of effort and getting the same grade as someone who put no effort in. I don't really think 2 of my group members will do their share even though we gave them the easiest jobs. Im fully prepared to do their jobs if I have to.

 Today in class we were supposed to work on a writing assignment that would span the block day but instead I used my minor work ticket yippie!! So instead of wasting my time in class on playing games on my computer or sleeping, im gonna work on my SAT prep homework so thats exciting. I dont have a class today so when i get home all i have to work on is probably some APUSH work and my SAT work.
