11/15/24 Wish I Had More Of

 I wish i had more time, time is one of the most valuable things in the world. I really dont think there is any other answer to this question. With more time you can accomplish ANYTHING you want in life. I think time goes unappreciated most of the time too which is crazy because time is such a gift. Time passes without you realizing it but when you look back it really begins to sink in how temporary everything is in the Grand scheme of things.

 I had to make a speech in front of my class once, and I was nervous that I would forget my words or be judged. but I took deep breaths and focused on eye contact with the crowd. The advice I will give to someone who has stage fright is to practice a lot beforehand, breathe deep, and just remind yourself that the audience wants you to succeed.

 Today in class we started to work on a group project. Im not a fan of group grade assignments, I feel like if I do all of my work and others don't I shouldn't be penalized for putting in my share of effort and getting the same grade as someone who put no effort in. I don't really think 2 of my group members will do their share even though we gave them the easiest jobs. Im fully prepared to do their jobs if I have to.

 Today in class we were supposed to work on a writing assignment that would span the block day but instead I used my minor work ticket yippie!! So instead of wasting my time in class on playing games on my computer or sleeping, im gonna work on my SAT prep homework so thats exciting. I dont have a class today so when i get home all i have to work on is probably some APUSH work and my SAT work.
