2/27/2025 IDENTITY

My most important part about who I am is that I can be helpfull. I like answering questions, giving advice, and explaining things so people understand better. It feels helpful and like I am accomplishing something for someone else.  When I am able to explain something to someone or give someone an idea that they did not have before, it feels like I'm doing a good deed.

2/25/25 Privacy

I value my privacy greatly, and I do think that privacy is a basic human right. I also think that its a good thing that there are ways that the government can invade that privacy. For example, warrants and reasonable suspect. I think that those greatly increase public safety while keeping innocent peoples privacy.

2/24/2025

Over the break I got a lot of work done. I knew it was imperative because I've been getting burn out and needed to start on a clean sheet, the only impediment was that I wanted to sleep in all day. But I had to immolate the want for sleep in order to get my work done. My work was immutable so I might as well do it early is what I thought, but of course I procrastinated and I had the constant imminent feeling of having to do my work.

02/13/2025 My American Dream

My American dream is to have total financial freedom, live near by family and friends, and to be able to retire early. Retiring comfortably is a big one because for most of your life you're selling your time and it's important to not sell ALL of your time. I want to get to a point one day where I sell my intellect instead of my time.

02/11/2025 -- A time someone offended me with their words

There hasn't been many times I've been deeply offended by someones words, but recently someone did hurt my feelings a little. I was walking in the hallway when I ran into one of my friends, we stopped to say hi to each other and before they kept walking they jokingly made fun of my outfit. I know that they didn't really mean it but it still didn't feel great.

02/10/2025 LIFE SKILLS

I have learned time management skills that will help me to live independently after graduation. Time management will be very important in balancing work and life, while good communication will be essential in building relationships and seeking help when needed. Problem-solving, self-care, and time management are some of the skills that I think will help me achieve success after high school.

0/2/07/2025 Super Bowl Weekend!

My favorite part of the Superbowl is the sense of community it brings! Although I'm not a big football guy, I do enjoy being with my family and seeing relatives that I haven't seen in a while. I like that there is something for everyone, there's food, funny commercials, and even just reconnecting with family. I think more people should view it as a social gathering rather than strictly a football watch party.

02/05/2025 Public speaking strengths and weaknesses

I've gotten a lot better at public speaking in the last 1-2 years. Some of my strengths are that I'm confident in front of a crowd and I usually know what I'm talking about if I'm doing a presentation on it. I think some of my weaknesses are that I stumble over words sometimes and I lose my train of thought. Im over all not bad at presenting, but I'm still ready to get it done.

02/04/2025 A Poem about my life

If I had to write a poem about my life right now, it would be about finding a balance between school, friendships, and personal growth. It would reflect ups and downs of everyday life, victories, and challenges that shape me. I would use imagery to show the feeling of being overwhelmed and show the moments of happiness.

02/3/2025 Stage fright

I had to make a speech in front of my class once, and I was nervous that I would forget my words or be judged. but I took deep breaths and focused on eye contact with the crowd. The advice I will give to someone who has stage fright is to practice a lot beforehand, breathe deep, and just remind yourself that the audience wants you to succeed.
