 ABSENT, I was sick on halloween lol. It sucked

 Today in class we continued to work on our mural projects over the short story, "The Rock Pile". I finished reading it so now all I have to do is the assignment part which shouldn't be too hard. I only have 2 SAT assignments left to finish but I also have a TON of AVtech Editing to do so that's not exciting.

 Today in class we started to work on a group project. Im not a fan of group grade assignments, I feel like if I do all of my work and others don't I shouldn't be penalized for putting in my share of effort and getting the same grade as someone who put no effort in. I don't really think 2 of my group members will do their share even though we gave them the easiest jobs. Im fully prepared to do their jobs if I have to.

 Im posting this blog post late because on Friday I got checked out of school to visit family over the weekend and didn't have access to my blogger account! On Friday we worked on more argumentative writing by reading and writing about how social media negatively effects teenagers. I liked this assignment! It was pretty fun to write about and pick out evidence from the text and dig deeper into it, I also liked how you let us talk to each other while we worked on it!

 Today in class we worked on finishing our explaining evidence assignment. Im not a big fan of this assignment but its also not bad, its just something new. Last night I finished working on our vocab lesson 5 pwp so that's nice. Not too much homework left I'm getting caught up nicely

 Today in class we talked about evidence and practiced a bit as well. It was pretty fun I enjoyed it. It makes you read the text in a different way than you normally would which is interesting. It's cool how different a text can be when you're looking for different things and picking it apart in ways you didn't think of doing before.

 Today we worked on a vocabulary picture assignment. I didnt finish it so I'll have to finish it when I get home. Im not a big fan of the picture assignments, I like doing flashcards for my vocab instead. Hopefully I don't have too much more homework tonight

 Today in class we had a discussion about the poem, "we real cool". I like it when we have class discussions about poems like today. Im excited for the break im gonna clear all of the homework i have early. Thank you for not assigning homework over the break !!

 Today in class we worked on an assignment practicing identifying evidence, I wasn't a big fan of it to be honest, I am ready for our vocab quiz though. I almost forgot to write today! Ive been working on SAT work for most of tonight and its been going pretty well. Also the schedule got switched around so now my internal schedule is all messed up. Overall not a bad day

 Today I came to school late from a dentist appointment and I got back in time to get my work for 4th period. Because I came in late I didn't have time to finish the assignment but I'm writing this just as I finished it for homework. I think some of the questions on there were more complicated than just picking a side so I had to try my best to express how I really felt for each one.I have more homework to do after this, although I don't want to do it I've always motivated myself to do it by reminding myself that once Its done I'll feel better than before I did it and on top of that I don't have to worry about doing it anymore! 😸

 Today in class we took notes on evidence writing. We talked about how school districts split up money and how our school compares to other schools. It was pretty fun today Im ready to do more vocab though because that's the most fun in ela for me. I don't have much homework tonight so far but I do have a math test tomorrow so I'll have to study a bit for that.

 Today in class we took a standardized benchmark test for Amr LIT. It wasn't bad, I had a rough time starting the essay but once I started I got pretty into it. The multiple choice questions weren't bad at all, though I couldn't always find the answers in the text. When I get home I have to study for the SAT, work on my math homework and my physics homework, and work on editing a film for AV-TECH-3.

 Today is October 1st! It's finally getting to be fall, today in class we started working on a long assignment practicing using Ethos, Logos, And Pathos. Im not a big fan of assignments like this but I do like that for each topic you have to use 2 different rhetorical strategies, it makes you think about the prompt from a different angle. Anyways, Finally catching up on most of the work I have, hoping for a good SAT score but only I can make that happen, other than that I'm all good 👍
